[Review] Pizza E Birra - A Delicious Affair between Pizza&Beer

Nothing is better than a good place and a good food. This two describe one amazing place in Paris Van Java, Sukajadi, Bandung. It is called Pizza e Birra. You can see this place straight from the entrance. It’s next to Sushi Groove. Pizza e Birra is a place where great Pizza and good Beer get along. The two are the highlight in this restaurant but you can also find other menus which I can tell for sure are absolutely delicious.

I came to this place with my two friends to try their pizza, obviously. A friend of mine told me that their pizza tastes AH-MazeBalls. As pizza is one of my favorite dishes, and with that reference from my friend, I decided to try the pizza from this place. The result was absolutely no regret. It’s worth every penny.

Okay let’s talk about what we ordered.

For starter, I ordered HOUSE CAESAR SALAD. I always want to try salad from any different kind of restaurants as I am a big fan of salad. Hence, I decided to order this one. You can add chicken or salmon into your salad and they charge differently for the addition. Since I didn’t order any addition, they charge me Rp. 41,000 for the salad. To me, the salad tasted different from the caesar salad I used to have. I still enjoyed it thou.

This was what I ordered

Dewi ordered SPAGHETTI AGLIO OLIO with TURKISH MEATBALLS. The highlight of this spaghetti was the meatballs. It’s pure meat with a special sauce covering it. It did get along really well with the aglio olio. You can get it for Rp. 40,000 with additional Rp. 30,000 for the meatballs.

My friend, Indri, ordered RAVIOLI FROMAGE A TROIS. It’s a ravioli pasta filled with cheese (parmesan, mozzarella, blue cheese) poured with tomato fondue and organic basil on top. Yea, it’s a cheese blast moment and tasted unbelievably delicious. It’s Rp. 69,000.

For the beverage, well my two friends was a little bit disappointed with their beverages and they found my drink was way better than theirs. LOL. Indri ordered cold VANILA FUDGE LATTE for Rp. 33,000 and she said it tasted so so. Not so great even. Dewi ordered cold GREEN TEA MINT for Rp. 27,000 and she said it tasted not so good. Plus, she didn’t expect the portion to be a big one. Yeah, they served the tea in a rather giant glass. LOL. On the other hand, I satisfied with my drink. I ordered a hot EARL GREY premium tea for Rp. 27,000. They served it in a classy teapot with a small cup along with a variety of sugar, a regular one to a diabetic one. I really enjoyed my drink, since it was a bit chilly from the raining that day, a hot tea really helped. It tasted great without the sugar, by the way.

Now, drum roll please.... It’s time for the highlight of the day. We ordered SALAME PICCANTE E FUNGHI BIANCHI, one pizza for us three. From the name, you can tell that it’s a pizza with salami and mushroom. :D To be precise, it’s a spicy thin crust pizza with spicy beef salami, melted mozzarella cheese, topped with mushroom, oregano and chili. Even though it’s said to be spicy on the menu but worry nothing because it’s not that spicy. You can add some sauce to make it spicier. With Rp. 89.000, you’d get a holiday in your mouth. It is crunchy and heavenly tasty. We can never get enough of it. 

We absolutely enjoyed every bite of it. I definitely am planning on coming back to this place to try their pizza. :9

I highly recommend this place. Try their Pizza and you’re gonna love it to the death.

Makeup For You (Minty Orange Makeup for Graduation)

One fine day on August 14th 2014, I was doing another graduation makeup session for my bestie. Always been an honor doing some makeup for my best friend. She trusted me as her makeup artist even though I was not and I still am not a professional makeup artist. Since she trusted me, I had to show my best work even if I did not know if it was indeed my best work or not. I let her judge my work based on her honest opinion later that day.

The theme was minty orange as she was wearing an orange long dress with a touch of mint lace. She asked me not to over-do her makeup and requested it to be flawless yet it brought out her best feature.

The products I used were pretty much the same as the previous products used for my sister’s graduation.

1. For her eyebrows I used NYX powder brown liner in Bel 08.
2. I used NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk as the eye base.
3. For her outer V corner, I applied MakeOver eyeliner pencil in brown latte and I blended out the color by also adding some brown colors from ELF Eye Manual 32 eye shadow palette.
4. I applied soft orange color all over her middle lid and then blended them.
5. I put mint color in her inner corner to pop her eye out more. I used the same palette, ELF Eye Manual 32 eye shadows palette.
6. For her eyeliner, I chose Viva Cosmetics liquid eyeliner.
7. I applied some mascara to her lashes using my Maybelline Great Lash mascara in blackest black.
8. Last but not least, I put false lashes.
9. For her over all face, I used Revlon Color Stay liquid foundation in beige. As the powder I chose Wardah luminous powder in beige. For contouring, I used my MakeOver face contour kit. Final touch to her face was patting peach color to her cheeks using my wardah blush on A.
10. As for her lips, I used wardah exclusive lipstick in golden coral number 30.

Those were the products used for my best friend’s graduation. Thankfully, she was happy with the result. I also did her hijab and she also satisfied with the result. Nothing’s more precious than a smile on her face and saw how satisfy she was with my work. It was a priceless moment when your best friend trusted you to make her even prettier.
